Fundraising projects

The Outlook Foundation is a registered charity. The support and housing of our tenants and residents is paid for from their statutory fees. We want to spend every penny we can of their fees on the support of our residents, which means we need to raise money for maintenance projects and cosmetic improvements to our homes.

Outlook House garden

We hope to replace the patio at Outlook House with a new, level patio that we can use to play garden games. We'd like to buy some games for the garden as well as a storage box to keep them in. We are hoping to dig over the flower bed by head office so that we can plant a wildflower garden. It would be lovely to have this work completed before our summer party in 2025, in either July or September.

Jean Marshall garden furniture

We'd like to buy some new garden furniture to use the patio at Jean Marshall as an outdoors seating area, so the tenants can use this space more for socialising and summer barbecues. We would like to buy some plants to create a welcoming sensory garden, including scented plants and grasses that move with the winds.

Replace Gaynor Forster carpets

The carpets in the communal hallway and up the stairs at Gaynor Forster House are very well used and worn. We would like to replace these with something attractive and hard wearing to improve this busy communal area of the house.

Hangleton garden furniture

Our newest home has a lovely sunny garden which is great for hanging out washing and enjoying the conservatory. We'd love to buy some garden furniture so the residents can sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet or use to eat meals together and socialise.
